This morning I received a response from Paetec Communications advising the Vonage has responded to this issue by disconnecting the number and advising the account holder that their activity of this nature could no longer continue. Thank you for providing me with the information to make a formal complaint. I did attach a link to this site as support to my claim I was not the only one experiencing issues.

fraudulent caller asks for de4bt payment!

They called my home phone number even though we are on the Federal DNC list. The phone rang three times but when I picked up, they hung up. Our phone company (Optimum/Cablevision) listed the origination of the call as "Dial It, NJ" -- yeah, seems like spoofing by telemarketers using random dialers and surpressing after the fact against the DNC.

This is the number of a debt collector. Pay your debts!

these people kept calling my mom, and when she told them she was battling cancer, which she has been since last sept (leukemia).. .The man told her she better get to feeling better for her court appearance for check fraud!!! A woman keeps calling and calls me by my wife's name. when I tell them I'm not her they hang up 3rd call in 2days

First there was a voice message that used extreme scare tactics to persuade the receiver to purchase an emergency calling system worn around the neck. I was told to press 1 to get more information so I did. When the representative answered, I told her that I wanted to be taken off the call list. She was rude and said that she was only the operator. I asked her several times but she started to insult me and then hung up. She never identified herself or the company.

He gave his name, I ask what was the nature of his call. He said he was calling inreference to my Macy's account. Left a #800 number snd ask to call back. I was just coming in from work. When I thought about it, I made my payment already, and why was he calling me. I never called the number back because there was no reason to. Now I will report this number to the Do Not Call Complaint Checklist
